Programming Changes

  • KTVP-LD 23.x Phoenix (HC2 LPTV Holdings Inc.) has dropped channels 23.3 through 23.6, leaving ONTV4U infomercials on channel 23.1 and unidentified infomercials on channel 23.2. KTVP-LD has also been identified as the future Phoenix home of Cheddar News.
  • KPDF-CD 41.x (22) Phoenix (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has added ONTV4U infomercials on channel 41.5 and unidentified infomercials on channel 41.6. It is the same programming found on channels 23.1 and 23.2, respectively.

Programming Changes

  • KOLD-TV 13.x (32/13) Tucson (Gray Television Licensee LLC) has been announced as a charter affiliate of the new Circle TV diginet, set to launch in January. Circle TV is a joint venture between Opryland Entertainment Group and Gray Television, and plans to offer both linear television and an OTT (over-the-top) streaming service. The diginet will most likely appear on channel 13.3, which is currently vacant.
  • K14RK-D 38.x Phoenix (Spanish Independent Broadcast Network LLC) has dropped Car Credit TV from its lineup and brought Rev'n back. Channel 38.5 is now PAWS, AKA the squirrel channel, and channel 38.7 is once again Rev'n.

  • K45LU-D 5.x Window Rock (The Navajo Nation) requested and was granted a license to cover its displacement construction permit. Technical specifications: Ch 33; TL 35° 40' 51" N, 109° 3' 11" W (Tribal Hill Dr. near Roswell Dr.); ERP 2.52 kW directional (1.75° electrical beam tilt); HAAT -42 m. (21 m. AGL).

Programming Changes

  • KVOA 4.x (23) Tucson (KVOA License LLC) has been spotted testing two new subchannels, 4.4 and 4.5. Channel 4.4 has been announced as the Tucson affiliate of the DABL lifestyle network, which launches September 9. It is unknown whether channel 4.5 will actually debut, and if so, what programming it will carry. The new subchannels will also appear on its translators.
  • KPHO-TV 5.x (17) Phoenix (KPHO Broadcasting Corporation) has been announced as the Phoenix affiliate of the DABL lifestyle network that launches September 9. DABL is expected to air on channel 5.3 and will also appear on KPHO's translators.
