  • KGRF-LD 29.x (21) Gila River Indian Co (Gila River Telecommunications Inc.) has been granted a license to cover operations of the station on RF channel 21. Technical specifications: Ch 21; TL 33° 22' 37" N, 112° 13' 34" W (W. Baseline Rd. & 78th Ave.); ERP 15 kW DA HP 1.5° EBT; HAGL 33 m / 109 ft.
  • K04QP-D Casas Adobes (Tucson TV License Company LLC) requested and has been granted a license to cover its move to UHF channel 17 and to change broadcast antenna.   • K10RX-D 8.x Arrowhead NV (KCSG-TV LLC) requested and has been granted a license to cover its construction permit to move to VHF channel 10, to change transmitter site to a location within Mesquite NV, to aim the signal to the east, to reduce power and to change its community of license to Mesquite NV. Technical specifications: Ch 10; TL 36° 48' 18" N, 114° 4' 9" W (71 W 1st N St.); ERP 0.4 kW DA HP; HAGL 15 m / 50 ft.
  • K10RX-D 9.x Las Vegas NV (KCSG-TV LLC) requested and has been granted a license to cover its construction permit to change transmitter site to Henderson NV and community of license to Las Vegas NV.

Programming Changes

  • KMEE-TV 6.x (19) Kingman (KMOH-TV LLC) has modified its lineup to the following:
    • 6.1 MeTV
    • 6.2 MeTV+
    • 6.3 Story Television
    • 6.4 MeTV Toons
    • 6.5 WEST
  • KAZT-TV 7.x Prescott (KAZT LLC) has dropped MeTV from channel 7.2, replacing it with encore local programming and infomercials, branded as More!AZ. The station has also replaced Merit Street programming on channel 7.3 with another feed of Rewind TV. The same changes appear on the following translators:
    • KAZT-CD 7.x (36) Phoenix
    • K24DK-D 7.x Bullhead City
    • K30DT-D 7.x Flagstaff

  • KPAZ-TV 21.x (20) Phoenix (Trinity Broadcasting of Arizona, Inc.) has replaced Merit Street programming on channel 21.2 with a black screen.
  • KFPB-LD 31.x (30) Gila River Indian Co (Globe LPTV LLC) has replaced One America News network (OAN) on channel 31.7 with ACE (American Classic Entertainment) and has replaced Enlace on channel 31.8 with ShopLC.
  • KPDF-CD 41.x (22) Phoenix (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has replaced Timeless TV on channel 41.1 with a weather loop, mixing current radar imagery and national forecasts with 3-week-old local conditions and forecasts.
  • KVPA-LD 42.x (34) Phoenix (Bridge News LLC) has made several changes to its lineup, replacing ACE on channel 42.5 with AWSN (All-Women's Sports Network), replacing BeIN Sports ñ on channel 42.7 with programming from Dr. Charles Stanley's InTouch Ministries, adding the Dr. Oz channel to channel 42.16, and moving Sales2 infomercial programming from channel 42.16 to channel 42.17.
  • K12XP-D 22.x Phoenix (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has replaced Magnificent Movies Network with Sports First TV on channel 22.1.
  • K32PG-D 40.x Phoenix (KEJR-LD LLC) has become a translator of KMEE-TV Kingman. Due to K06QW-D moving to Phoenix, it cannot use major channel number 6, so it continues to use major channel number 40.
  • K10RX-D 9.x Las Vegas NV (KCSG-TV LLC), upon moving to Las Vegas NV, has become a translator of KBWT 9.x Tonopah NV, airing the following subchannels:
    • 9.1 Dabl
    • 9.2 Catchy Comedy
    • 9.3 WEST

Station Changes

  • KVOA 4.x (23) Tucson (Tucson TV License Company LLC) has resumed operations as licensed.

Call Sign Changes

  • K04QP-D Casas Adobes (Tucson TV License Company LLC) has changed its call sign to K17PF-D 4.x Casas Adobes following its change to UHF channel 17.
  • K27MQ-D 8.x St. George UT (KCSG-TV LLC) has changed its call sign to K10RX-D 9.x Las Vegas NV following its change to VHF channel 10.
  • On December 19, 2025, the FCC adopted a rule change that required translator stations to only use a call sign consisting of the letter K or W, followed by the station's two-digit RF channel number, two or three additional letters to uniquely identify the station, plus the "-D" suffix. Translator stations were given an opportunity to convert their licenses from translator station to low power station and keep their call signs; those who declined and had call signs that did not comply with the new rules were automatically assigned compliant call signs. The following non-compliant translator stations viewable in Arizona received new compliant call signs:
    • KPSN-LD 12.x (22) Payson (Multimedia Holdings Corporation) is now K22PG-D.
    • KMEE-LD 40.x (26) Phoenix (KEJR-LD LLC) is now K32PG-D.
    • KMSQ-LD 15.x Mesquite NV (Bridge News LLC) is now K15NG-D.
    • KUWB-LD 30.x (22) Bloomington UT (Nexstar Media Inc.) is now K22PH-D.
    • KVBT-LD 13.x (26) Santa Clara UT (Scripps Broadcasting Holdings LLC) is now K26QF-D.

Transactions

  • Multimedia Holdings Corporation has requested and has been granted transfer of control of its stations to Nexstar Media Inc. as part of Nexstar's acquisition of TEGNA. The transaction has been consummated. The following are Multimedia Holdings Corporation stations in Arizona:

  • KUEN 9.x (36) Salt Lake City UT (Utah Board of Higher Education) requested and has been granted a pro forma assignment of its and its translators' licenses to the University of Utah, a downstream entity under the Utah Board of Higher Education. The following KUEN translators are viewable in Arizona:

Construction Permits and Special Temporary Authorizations (STAs) Granted

  • KGRF-LD 19.x Gila River Indian Co (Gila River Telecommunications Inc.) requested and has been granted an STA to continue operations of the station on RF channel 21. The station was built per construction permit, but the license to cover was never filed. The station had an STA to operate on channel 21, but it expired September 29. Technical specifications: Ch 21; TL 33° 22' 37" N, 112° 13' 34" W (W. Baseline Rd. & 78th Ave.); ERP 15 kW DA HP 1.5° EBT; HAAT 33 m / 109 ft AGL.
  • KUAS-TV 27.x (28) Tucson (AZ Board of Regents FBO UofA) requested and has been granted an STA to operate at reduced power until its transmitter can be repaired or replaced. Currently, the station is operating with a loaner transmitter at 4.37 kW ERP; the station is licensed to operate at 50 kW ERP.
  • K04QP-D Casas Adobes (Tucson Television License LLC) requested and was granted an extension of its STA to operate at approximately 25% of licensed power due to equipment failure and a need for more time to either bring the station back to licensed specs, or to get operations on UHF channel 17 up and running. The station did the latter, so the STA is now moot.
  • K04SE-D Buckeye (Sunshine TV LLC) requested and has been granted requested an extension of its Silence STA.
  • K06QW-D Sentinel (Sunshine TV LLC) requested and has been granted requested an extension of its Silence STA.
  • K14RK-D Phoenix (Good News Broadcasting Network Inc.) requested and has been granted a construction permit to replace its broadcast antenna with a non-directional elliptically-polarized antenna with a 30% vertical component. Technical specifications: Ch 14; TL 33° 20' 0" N, 112° 3' 48" W (South Mtn.); ERP 15 kW H / 4.5 kW V 1.75° EBT; HAAT 469 m / 1,538 ft.
  • K25QW-D Lake Havasu (Lowcountry 34 Media LLC) requested and has been granted requested a Silence STA Following the station going silent on October 14 due to equipment failure.
  • K34EE-D 15.x Prescott-Cottonwood (Scripps Broadcast Holdings LLC) requested and has been granted a construction permit to change its pattern rotation from 10° to 170° to better serve Prescott Valley, which is currently very underserved. No other changes are proposed. Technical specifications: Ch 34; TL 34° 14' 11" N, 112° 7' 1" W (Mingus Mtn.); ERP 1.6 kW DA HP; HAAT 783 m / 2,568 ft.
  • K34PG-D Payson (Good News Broadcasting Network Inc.) requested and has been granted a construction permit to replace its broadcast antenna with a non-directional elliptically-polarized antenna with a 30% vertical component. Technical specifications: Ch 34; TL 34° 17' 15" N, 111° 11' 34" W (Diamond Point); ERP 3 kW H / 0.9 kW V 1.75 EBT; HAAT 292 m / 958 ft.
  • KEYI-LD 35.x Las Vegas NV (Mountain Ridge Holdings Inc.) requested and has been granted an extension of its Silence STA through July 2.
  • KLVD-LD 23.x Las Vegas NV (Word of God Fellowship Inc.) requested and has been granted a displacement construction permit to move to VHF channel 8, following KHSV's approval to move to UHF channel 23. Technical specifications: Ch 8; TL 36° 0' 36" N, 115° 0' 23" W (Black Mtn.); ERP 3 kW CP; HAAT 362 m / 1,187 ft.

  • KNBX-CD 31.x (14) Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) requested and has been granted a Silence STA through August 13.
  • K09SU-D 4.x Hildale UT (Nexstar Media Inc.) requested and was granted a modification to its license for a power increase and antenna change. Technical specifications: Ch 9; TL 36° 53' 37" N, 113° 1' 52" W (Point of Rocks Electronic Site); ERP 0.13 kW HP DA (50°); HAAT 47 m / 153 ft.
  • K27MQ-D (K10RX-D) 8.x Arrowhead NV (KCSG-TV LLC) requested and was granted a modification to its construction permit to move to VHF channel 10, transmitting from a site within Mesquite NV, and aiming the signal to the east.   • K36NE-D 43.x Las Vegas NV (HC2 Station Group Inc.) requested and was granted a major modification to its license, allowing it to change RF channel from UHF 36 to UHF 34 and change community of license to Winchester. Its call sign will be K34RJ-D when licensed. Technical specifications: Ch 34; TL 36° 6' 58" N, 115° 11' 12" W (Rio Hotel & Casino); ERP 15 kW DA (50°) HP 1° EBT; HAGL 133 m / 436 ft.
  • Sinclair's One Media requested and has been granted an Experimental STA, effective April 16 through April 23, to broadcast a NextGen signal during the National Association of Broadcasters on UHF channel 33. There will be significant co-channel interference to K33MJ-D in Pahrump NV, but that station has agreed to accept the interference. Technical specifications: Ch 33; TL 36° 7' 49" N, 115° 9' 8" W (Las Vegas Convention Center); ERP 0.01 kW H / unknown V EP; HAGL 3 m / 10 ft.

Construction Permits and STAs Requested

  • KDOS-LD 29.x (19) Globe (KTVW License Partnership GP) has requested a major modification to its license, allowing it to move from Globe to Tucson, changing RF channel to UHF 33, changing community of license to Tucson, and maximizing power. The station is predicted to cause unacceptable interference to co-channel KTVW-DT 33.x Phoenix, but KTVW License Partnership owns both stations and is willing to accept the interference for KTVW. Technical specifications: Ch 33; TL 32° 24' 54" N, 110° 42' 57" W (Mt. Bigelow); ERP 15 kW DA (225°) HP 2° EBT; HAAT 1,094 m / 3,588 ft.
  • K04SE-D 3.x Buckeye (Sunshine TV LLC) has requested a major modification to its license, allowing it to movv from the electronics site on the White Tank Mtns. to the South Mountain antenna farm, to change to VHF channel 11, and to change community of license to Phoenix. Technical specifications: Ch 11; TL 33° 20' 1" N, 112° 3' 48" W (South Mtn.); ERP 3 kW HP 0.5° EBT; HAAT 490 m / 1,607 ft.
  • K17ED-D Payette ID (HC2 Station Group Inc.) has requested a major modification to its license, allowing it to move from Payette ID to Phoenix, changing RF channel to UHF 23, and community of license to Phoenix. HC2 already has a station operating on UHF 23 in Phoenix, KTVP-LP, and has accepted any interference that may arise. Technical specifications: Ch 23; TL 33° 19' 57" N, 112° 3' 59" W (South Mtn.); ERP 15 kW DA (52°) CP 1° EBT; HAAT 443 m / 1,453 ft.
  • K17LM-D Yuma (Edge Spectrum Inc.) has requested a major modification to its license, allowing it to move from Yuma to Holtville CA, changing RF channel to UHF 19, and community of license to El Centro/Holtville CA. The new location and being co-channel to an existing Yuma signal should render the station, for all intents and purposes, no longer receivable in Arizona. Technical specifications: Ch 19; TL 32° 43' 37" N, 115° 22' 23" W (Bonds Corner); ERP 15 kW H / Unknown V; HAAT 61 m / 200 ft (HAGL 59 m / 194 ft).
  • K21FU-D 5.x Topock (Mohave County Board of Supervisors) has requested a minor modification to its license, to correct its site elevation. Technical specifications: Ch 21; TL 35° 2' 9" N, 114° 22' 17" W (Goldroad Crest); ERP 1.03 kW DA (188°) HP; HAAT 465 m / 1,525 ft.
  • K23PL-D Shonto (Digital Networks-Southwest LLC) has requested a major modification to its license, allowing it from Shonto, on the Navajo Nation, to Phoenix, changing RF channel to VHF 7, and community of license to Phoenix. Technical specifications: Ch 7; TL 33° 19' 57" N, 112° 3' 59" W (South Mtn.); ERP 1.5 kW DA 90° HP; HAAT 452 m / 1,483 ft.
  • K25QW-D Lake Havasu (Lowcountry 34 Media LLC) has requested a construction permit to move the station to a cell tower in Mohave Valley, approximately 25 miles to the north. Technical specifications: Ch 25; TL 34° 53' 58" N, 114° 35' 51" W (AZ 95 & Magellan Dr.); ERP 15 kW DA HP; HAAT 31 m / 102 ft AGL.
  • K29OM-D Springfield MO (Digital Networks-Southwest LLC) has requested a major modification to its license, allowing it to move from Springfield MO to Tucson, changing RF channel to UHF 15, and community of license to Tucson. Technical specifications: Ch 15; TL 32° 14' 57" N, 111° 7' 1" W (Tucson Mtns.); ERP 15 kW DA 95° HP; HAAT 590 m / 1,935 ft.
  • K22PH-D 30.x Bloomington UT (Nexstar Broadcasting Inc.) has requested an STA to continue operations at the same parameters they have been operating at since 2021. The station had requested and was granted a power increase in 2018 but neglected to file for a license to cover the construction permit when buildout was completed.
  • K31HY-D 15.x Needles CA (Mohave County Board of Supervisors) has requested a major modification to its licens, allowing it to change RF channel from 31 to 30 and to slightly reduce power. The modification, if granted, may not get built, as Mohave County has also applied for a new translator TV station on UHF channel 30. Technical specifications: Ch 30; TL 35° 2' 9" N, 114° 22' 17" W (Goldroad Crest); ERP 0.074 kW DA (268°) HP; HAAT 462 m / 1,515 ft.

LPTV and TV Translator Filing Opportunity

On March 19, 2026, the FCC opened a filing opportunity for new LPTV and TV Translator stations and for major changes by Class A, LPTV, and TV translator stations. Unlike the previous filing opportunity, there is no restriction on distance from a major market city. The list of filings through April 7 proposed to serve Arizona locations are located in another post .

  • KGRF-LD 29.x (21) Gila River Indian Co (Gila River Telecommunications Inc.) has further amended its request for license to cover its expired construction permit, providing additional documentation proving that the station came online at its requested facilities in April 2021, one month after the construction permit was granted, and has been operational since. The license request is under review. Programming Changes

  • KTVW-DT 33.x Phoenix (KTVW License Partnership GP) has added channels 33.3 and 33.7 to its lineup, airing HSN and MovieSphereGold, respectively. The MovieSphere Gold website (moviespheregold.com) erroneously lists their network on channel 33.3.
  • KUVE-DT 46.x (34) Green Valley (Univision Tucson LLC) has added MovieSphere Gold to its lineup on channel 46.4, which had not been in the lineup before. Between May 4 and June 8, KUVE also added the BT2 infomercial network on channel 46.7, a change overlooked in the May/June update.

  • KUWB-LD 30.x (22) Bloomington UT (Nexstar Media Inc.) has requested a reinstatement of its October 2018 construction permit that was built, but never licensed, and has also requested a license to cover the permit.   • KGUN 9.x Tucson (Scripps Broadcasting Holdings LLC) has replaced Ion Mystery on channel 9.6 with BUSTED, a new OTA digital network from Free TV Networks.

  • KDVD-LD 50.x Globe (Globe LPTV LLC) has replaced ShopHQ on channel 50.3 with TeleVida Abundante.

Network Changes

  • Free TV Networks (FTN) is planning to launch a fourth TV network on March 1, joining Outlaw, 365BLK and DEFY, according to a press release (https://freetvnetworks.com/press-releases). BUSTED plans to show high-adrenaline, crime-focused programming designed to appeal to men. Gray Media has been an OTA partner of FTN, but FTN also plans to partner with Scripps, Nexstar Media Group and HC2 Broadcasting to roll out this new network.

  • K06QW-D Sentinel (Quad Marketing Group LLC) requested and has been granted a license to cover its relocatiom from Gila Bend to a tower near Mobile. The station does not appear to be on the air.
