What Does the SatelliteGuys Partnership Mean for RabbitEars?

As you may have seen from his post on Monday here and on SatelliteGuys, that Scott Greczkowski of SatelliteGuys is the new host of RabbitEars. I just wanted to take a moment to explain what this means for RabbitEars.
In a word: Nothing. No changes. RabbitEars has not been sold; I still own and operate the site. Scott has posting permissions on the blog here, but other than his introductory post from Monday, he will only use his posting abilities for notices of scheduled maintenance so he doesn't have to go through me to post them. I've given the top left ad slot to Scott on a full-time basis to link back to SatelliteGuys, but otherwise, the current advertising policy will remain for the top right ad slot and no additional ads will appear on RabbitEars.
I expect only good things to come out of this arrangement, including more redundancy, which should lead to significantly reduced amounts of down time, transition issues such as the current DNS issues aside.
On that subject, the DNS issues should now be resolved, so in 24-48 hours, all should be well.

Sounds good to me. Good luck with the new partnership.
