KBSD and KNOP

I am home for the weekend and in addition to uploading more than a month's worth of backlogged TSReader data captures (bringing my total up to 1,670 unique stations), I'm finally getting a chance to enjoy some e-skip on the TV band.

So far this weekend, I've seen XHRIO-2 and CKPR-2 on analog, with the latter being the first time I've ever received Canada. On digital, I've seen signal on 5 but nothing's decoded. I've successfully decoded KNOP-2 and KBSD-6, and not only did I decode them, I decoded them well enough to grab perfectly clean TSReader data for them! I already had KNOP, but adding KBSD brings me up to 1,671 unique stations.

I'm hoping that things will ease up after my Probability test on Tuesday and I'll have more time for RabbitEars at that point. Until then, enjoy your 4th of July!

I knew I wasn't dreaming. I picked up a channel 5 station, couldn't hold it long enough to ID but it was fading out pretty deep here.

Meanwhile on the ham side of things 6 meters was wide open, and 10m was open to Europe.

www.spaceweather.com shows quite a lot of solar activity so we may be in for some fun!

And my parents have issues decoding KNOP from 48 miles away. ;-)
