Today, 3Dec2012, VAsianTV on Las Vegas KTUD 25.3 is indicating they are leaving that sub-channel and will offer some of their programming weekends on KTUD 25.1. The future of the KTUD 25.3 sub-channel is unclear at this time.

Can anyone verify if KNAZ-DT (6.3 & 22.3) PSID 2.1 is still up in the Prescott Area? I have not seen those NBC channels since a big snowstorm on 15DEC2012.

Looks as if KNAZ-DT is back up on 6.3 (K06AE)
Still no reception on 22.3.
Anyone know the fate of K57DC?

I was in Flagstaff and the Verde Valley tonight. KNAZ-DT 2.1 is fine. You wouldn't have reception on K06AE-D if KNAZ-DT were off the air, so you know if you have one, you have the other.

Several months ago, K57DC Camp Verde was moved to analog channel 25, where it remains a rebroadcaster of KPNX. It now carries the digital call sign K25MK-D, but continues to broadcast in analog.

K55IY is supposed to move to analog channel 31, but hasn't come on air yet.

All of the Camp Verde translators have construction permits to flash cut to digital - they have until 9/1/2015 to do so.

Noticed that K39FC E. Flagstaff was off the air, but K48GI Flagstaff was up. Both are rebroadcasters of KSAZ, and are owned by Fox. They duplicate coverage.

TBN rebroadcaster K51HV is still off the air, and the digital signal on ch. 35 has not yet begun.

Strange. I used to pick up K57DC, but I don't receive K25MK. Are they the same facility/wattage?

I wonder if KUTP K16BP will ever get digital. They already have the digital bays on the tower that shares the KAHM site on Mingus.

Between K36AE and K16BP, I suspect K36AE would be the logical choice to broadcast both KASW & KUTP.

Doh! I meant KSAZ, not KASW.

When K57DC transitioned to the in-core channel, it cut power from 305 Watts to 293 Watts. That's not really significant, but there's a slight chance that it made the difference for you. I don't believe that there was any change in the antenna pattern. When K25MK-D does flash cut to digital, it will be at the same 293 Watts, so you may see reception restored, as 293 Watts goes farther in digital that it does in analog.

As for K36AE and K16BP, Fox will have to convert both by 9/1/2015. Since both stations are licensed as translators and not as low-power stations, they cannot originate programming, but must broadcast entirely what they receive. So K36AE will have to broadcast the entire KSAZ stream and K16BP will have to broadcast the entire KUTP stream.
