Why are there advertisements on RabbitEars?
Due to the continuting addition of new features to RabbitEars, the site seems to get slower and slower. As such,
it is becoming likely that the site will need to be upgraded to a superior hosting package. Since I cannot afford
increased hosting bills on my own, I am hoping to raise some funds through advertising to cover my costs. In
addition, I want to be able to spend some money on new digital TV gear and other things, which might improve
RabbitEars overall.
Some of the tasks I would like to accomplish through the addition of advertising includes upgrading hosting used for
RabbitEars, the purchase of at least one ATSC-MH receiver for use in updating MH listings on RabbitEars, and the
purchase additional USB receivers to send out for collection of additional TSReader data.
