While not directly related to station auction. Some stations are making changes in programing and networks. For instance:

In San Diego Market. XETV's American operations are winding down. The CW Network along with Telemundo are moving over the US based stations. To be broadcast on KFMB and KNSD.

Some station groups are adding more programing. Or simply moving there current diginets to another station in the market.

It looks like there will be a big problem with OTA transmission caused by the repack. Below is a link discussing some of this.

It also looks like the impact on reception could be horrific. Tucson has many repeater stations because of the mountains and this could be impacted if the repeaters go away. Phoenix has outlying repeater stations which affect a lot of the state. those could go away. This would FORCE people to use cable if they want TV. Read further on the link.
I am using an DB8e Antenna and Channelmaster rotator. I live on the west side of the Tucson Mountains. I am unable to get Channel 9 KGUN or it's repeater. 9 elected to remain on VHF digital. The signal is too weak to make it over the mountains and the repeater has too short of an antenna. I fear I will lose more stations. If I try to boost the signal, I lose stations so I have all but ABC and its 2 digital subchannels. The mountain in front of me blocking the signal is 4200 feet and I sit at 2,850 feet. The mountain is one third mile from my house. The UHF penetration is good since all the stations have some good ERP, but KGUN is only 36.5 KW.
