Re: KVTE-LP 35 Las Vegas. On what grounds should KVTE receive a renewal for their license. The station has not, to my knowledge, been on-air in years or built-out their digital facilities. Sounds like smoke and mirrors while attempting to build value for a possible sale to someone else.

Well, MundoMax appears to be shutting down, and that will leave KMOH Kingman and KEJR-LD in Phoenix without programming. A few affiliates are jumping over to Estrella TV, but KMOH/KEJR wasn't mentioned (possibly because of LBI-owned KVPA-LD) My guess will be that HERO will lease the channels out to Jimmy Swaggart and his SonLife network.

In Las Vegas, KGNG has tinkered with their sub-channels. Bounce is nowhere to be found, being bounced from 47.3. Taking its' place is Justice, which has been at home on 47.8 until now. Currently on 47.8 is QVC Plus, a new diginet to KGNG. The station has promised a 47.10, but there's no sign of it quite yet. Therefore: 47.1 HSN; 47.2 Buzzr; 47.3 Justice; 47.4 Retro; 47.5 Works/Ebru/Movies+' 47.6 Revn; 47.7 QVC Over The Air; 47.8 QVC Plus; and 47.9 MBC Korean.

I sent a message to Hero Broadcasting regarding what will replace MundoMax on KMOH/KEJR, and got a response back from their representative saying "America TV" will be the replacement content. I'm thinking this may be the Ameríca Tévé network out of Miami, where Hero is based.

I'm quite certain that you're correct. We'll know for sure by Dec. 1.

With the death of MundoMax, KMCC rf 32 virtual 34.1 Laughlin/Las Vegas/Dolan Springs/Henderson (whatever) is reported to be airing ACTION, the network very similar to TUFF. No details if QUE remians on both 34.2 and 34.3 at this time.

BOUNCE has found a new home today in Henderson/Las Vegas on KVVU 5.2. That replaces the Weather 24/7 sub-channel. BOUNCE was replaced on their former KGNG 47.3 Las Vegas home last week when the affiliation agreement ended. BOUNCE should now serve numerous new Arizona and Nevada viewers that did not have access to LPTV KGNG.

I wonder if the weather move in Vegas will affect KTVK 3.3? I believe Meredith was using the same WSI-powered system for all their weather subs, now they're only left with one and that's not bringing in the revenue like it should. Will the hints of bringing Comet to a full-power signal actually happen soon?

In Portland, OR, KUNP 47.2 has flipped from MundoMax to the East Coast feed of Escape, as of about 4pm PT Thursday 12/1. On Wed. night (11/30), KUNP waited until the closing credits of a telenovela ended before jumping off the network. They went right to an ID, followed by several seconds of a black screen before fading up to a static ID slide which stayed on air until Escape took over. Comcast Ch. 316 in Portland, which carried MundoMax off KUNP, stayed with them thru the off air period and is now airing Escape. I think KUNP bowed out before the network did.
