Live Well Network Goes Away in January

I won't miss it, personally. ABC to Discontinue Live Well Network.

Well, neither you nor I are in the target demographic for something like Live Well. Granted, if the target demo had actually been tuning into Live Well, they probably wouldn't be killing it off. I wonder if they'll eventually follow NBC's lead and create an ABC equivalent to Cozi.

Well, that will annoy local affiliate KCRG, who added LWN relatively recently.

Hoping they choose to bring back local program WX Now. It was nice having weather information available anytime I wanted to check on it.

I am in their target demographic, and I wouldn't give them five minutes. Their programming was unattractive, and in my city, we already have a health and lifestyle subchannel in Ion Life.

Hey, at least it was doing something with the subchannel that wasn't yet another rerun farm or dumping ground for 60s-80s movies.

Earlier this year WKMG in Orlando, FL, replaced Retro TV on .2 with Live Well, which was on .3 before then (.3 has Heartland Country now). They did that because their .2 is on Bright House but their .3 is not. On the weekends, if there is nothing in Sports for CBS to air in the afternoon, some of the Live Well programs will air on their .1 as well.
Bright House does NOT carry Qubo (OTA 56.2), ION Life (OTA 56.3), Movies! (OTA 65.2) and Bounce TV (OTA 65.3). Live Well is not worth watching, but than ION life isn't all that great either.

The way I see it, WKMG has some options. (1) They could move Heartland Country from .3 to .2 or (2) They could bring back Retro TV or (3) They could bring us Cozi TV.
